This website promotes the book The Ultimate Handbook on Teen Personal Finance by Jamie Savvy. We keep data collection to a minimum. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

This site is run by the author publishing as Jamie Savvy. Questions or requests: email hello@jamiesavvy.com (you can also message the Jamie Savvy Facebook Page).

What we collect

• Free chapter signup: your first name and email address, plus the date and time you agreed to receive emails.
• Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and reliability.

We do not ask for payment details. All book purchases happen on Amazon.

How we use it

• To email you the free chapter you asked for.
• To send occasional updates about Jamie Savvy’s books and helpful money tips, only if you agreed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

We never sell or rent your personal information.

Service providers

Email signups are stored and sent by our email service provider, MailerLite, which processes the data on our behalf under its own privacy and security terms. The site is hosted by Netlify. Messages sent to hello@jamiesavvy.com are relayed to our inbox by the email forwarding service Forward Email.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set its own tracking cookies. If we turn on the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure our ads, Meta may set cookies and receive information about your visit (for example, that you viewed this page or clicked through to Amazon). You can control ad personalization in your Facebook settings and block third-party cookies in your browser. Links to Amazon may include an Amazon Attribution tag so we can see which ads lead to visits on Amazon. Amazon handles anything you do on its site under the Amazon Privacy Notice.

Children and teens

The book is written for teens, but this website is meant for parents and readers aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, email hello@jamiesavvy.com and we will delete the information.

How long we keep it

We keep your name and email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Then we remove them from our active list within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. You may also ask us to show, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@jamiesavvy.com (or messaging the Jamie Savvy Facebook Page). Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, or California), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
